Fay I.(Clarke)Giles Merrill,age 83,of Wilmington, formerly of Wakefield and Melrose, died Tuesday, April 26, 2005 at the Wilmington Healthcare Center in Wilmington. Mrs. Merrill was born October 13, 1921 in Portland, ME, daughter of the late George F. Clarke and Bessie (Fay) Clarke. Fay was the wife of the late Eugene Merrill and Albert J. Giles, Sr. Fay was the step-mother of Clifford H. Giles, Donald P. Giles, Elizabeth French of Woburn and the late Albert J. Giles, Jr. She was the sister of David Clarke of Rochester, NH, and the cousin of Richard H. Fay. She is also survived by several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren. Funeral Services are private. Interment was in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody. Arrangements by the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St., Melrose.
