Felice M. (Taylor) Glennon of Lynnfield, and formerly of Melrose, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 25, 2019 at Sunrise of Lynnfield.She was 82.

Born in Fall River on March 8, 1937, Felice is one of two children of the late Harold J. and Alice M. (O'Brien) Taylor.The family moved to Melrose when she was young, and she spent the rest of her life in Melrose before moving to Lynnfield to receive more care as she got older.Felice graduated from Melrose High School in 1954 and looked forward to going to her class reunions.

Felice furthered her education, graduating from Emmanuel College where she was class president, and received her Master's Degree from Boston State.She was a very active Alumni member of Emmanuel College. She taught elementary education at Malden Public Schools, along with her husband, for many years.
Felice met, and later married her beloved Joseph on June 22, 1962.They went on to share 50 wonderful years together.

Raising their family in Melrose, she was very active in the community.She was a Girl Scout Leader, active in her church, taught CCD classes, and supported the Melrose Symphony.

A passionate teacher who specialized in reading comprehension, Felice took great pride in teaching those who were having a little trouble reading.The most important aspect of her method was giving her students the confidence to forge ahead in their learning journey.

Felice was also passionate about her family.She adored her children, grandchildren, and godchildren.She instilled the importance of learning into her children, and that carries on in her grandchildren as well.A lover of history, she was always taking her family to a museum or reading a new history book she received.They were always going somewhere that had educational value.

It wasn't always learning and museums though, as the lover of life that she was, she enjoyed planning the yearly family reunions in Fairhaven where they had a cottage, as well as family Christmas Parties. She and Joseph also enjoyed their trips, especially Hawaii and Ireland.

Felice had a zest for life, love of learning, and passion for her family and friends.Her warmth, love, kindness, and sparkle will be missed.

Felice is the beloved wife of the late Joseph E. Glennon with whom she shared 50 years of marriage. Devoted mother of Gabrielle Ludwick and her husband David of Chambersburg, PA., Felice Kerr and her husband Brian of Wilmington, DE., Celeste Krouse and her husband Edward of Melrose, Regina Mouradian and her husband David of Wakefield, and Lenore DiRienzo and her husband Rick of Palm Springs, FL.Dear sister of the late Susan Wren and her surviving spouse Bill. Cherished grandmother of Andrew, John, Leanne, Donald, Regan, Anna, Eddie, Celia, Michael, Elena, Lisa, Joe, and Louie.Also survived by her extended family, the Truong's of Malden.

Relatives and friends will gather in honor of Felice's life for visiting hours at the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St., Melrose on Saturday, Aug. 31 from 9-10am, before leaving in procession to the Church of the Incarnation, 429 Upham St., Melrose for her Funeral Mass celebrated at 11am. Interment at Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose.
