Florence was born on September 24, 1924 in Boston, daughter of the late Katherine (McLeod) MacDonald and Neil MacDonald.
Mrs. McPherson graduated from Quincy High School.She lived in Melrose for several years with her late husband Arthur and moved to Winchester in 1977.Most recently, she had been living in Colchester, Vermont.Florence loved music and was an accomplished pianist.
She was the beloved wife of the late Arthur W. McPherson.Mother of Scott D. McPherson of Colchester, Vermont, Joshua J. McPherson and his wife Brenda of Hilton Head, South Carolina and David M. McPherson and his wife Emily of Magnolia.Sister of June Young of Moultonboro, NH, John MacDonald of Quincy, Dr. Myles MacDonald of Port Charlotte, FL, Neil MacDonald and the late Donald MacDonald, Kenneth MacDonald, Richard MacDonald, and George MacDonald.Grandmother of Zachary and Joshua McPherson.
