Mrs. Smith was born in Melrose, October 7, 1921, daughter of the late Cornelius Lynch and Frances (Mansfield) Lynch.
Florence was a homemaker, a life long resident of Melrose and graduated from St. Mary's High School in 1939.
Florence was the beloved wife of Thomas H. "Smitty" Smith and the devoted mother of Thomas H. Smith, Jr. and his wife Susan of Newington, NH and Joyce E. Bluestein and her husband Keith of Midlothian, VA.Sister ofEdward Lynch, Gerry Gillcrist and Rita DeCoste, all of Melrose, Mary Mahoney of Malden and the late Francis Lynch and Eileen McCarthy.Grandmotherof Dawn M.Foglietta of Melrose, Jaime M. Bluestein and KateBluestein, both of VA and Brett S. Bluestein of NY.
Funeral Service at the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St., MELROSEThursday June 16 at 9:30 AM.Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.Visiting hoursWednesday 4-8PM.Interment will be in Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose, MA
