Miss Thompson was born September 9, 1908 in Malden, MA, daughter of the late Henry J. and Martha (Wood) Thompson.
For many years she worked as a Dietitian.Miss Thompson was raised in Malden,graduated from the Malden High School andwas a long time resident of Melrose and member of the Melrose Highlands Congregational Church.
Florence was the cousin of Thomas Hoisington of West Bridgewater, Walter Helfer of New Rochelle, NY and Michael Helfer of EastNorwalk, CT.
Memorial Service in the Melrose Highlands Congregational Church, 355 Franklin St., Melrose, Monday, May 12 at10 AM.
Gifts in her memory may be made to the Remembrance Fund at the Church.
Interment will be in Bellevue Cemetery, Lawrence, MA
