Francis J. “Frank” Langley

Francis J. “Frank” Langley, a lifelong resident of Malden, passed away peacefully at Glen Ridge Nursing Care Center in Medford on Friday, October 14, 2022, at age 73.

Frank was born in Melrose on February 26, 1949. He was raised in Malden, graduated from Malden High School, and the North Bennet Street School of Carpentry. For 20 years, Frank was employed at Tufts University.

For many years, Frank enjoyed spending time in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, especially North Conway. He loved hunting during the fall, snowmobiling in the winter, but enjoyed the New Hampshire outdoors anytime of the year. He also enjoyed Rock n’ Roll music, but most of all enjoyed time spent with his family. He was happiest being at home, and always looked forward to seeing family and friends at holidays or special events.

Frank was the son of the late Alberta (Ryan) and Thois Langley. Father of Jennifer Langley of TX, and Jessica Roberts and her husband Matt of OK. Brother of Joyce Bruno of Melrose, Marie Langley of Peabody, Daniel Langley of Stoneham, Louanne Langley of St. Cloud, FL, and the late Raymond and Joanne Langley. Grandfather of Samuel Langley, Natalie Rodriguez, and Sylas Morrison.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather in honor of Frank’s life during visiting hours at the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St., Melrose on Wednesday, Oct. 19 from 9-11am, followed by his Funeral Service at 11am. Interment at Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden.
