Mrs. Gael T. (Wadman) Lee, of Wilmington, formerly of Malden and Framingham, passed away on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Medford, at age of 70.
Gael was born on January 22, 1944 in Boston, one of four children of the late Harold Wadman and Louise (Nelson) Wadman.She was raised in Charlestown, and graduated from Cardinal Cushing High School. Gael lived in Malden for several years before moving to Framingham, and later Wilmington to be closer to her family.
Gael enjoyed golfing, camping, and spending the winter months in Bradenton, Florida.She loved swimming off the beaches of the West Coast of Florida where she had a home.Above all else, Gael was a deeply devoted mother to her two daughters and cherished the time she spent with her four grandchildren.
Gael was the devoted mother of Christine L. Sassone and her husband Eric of Wilmington and Jennifer A. Keefe and her husband Billy of Melrose. Dear sister of Bill Wadman and his wife Patricia of Saugus, Karen McCarthy and her husband Michael of Framingham, and Joan Kelley and her husband Orick of Framingham.Cherished grandmother of Phoebe, Abby, Tommy, and Charlie.Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends will gather in honor and remembrance of Gael's life during visiting hours at the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St., Melrose on Sunday, March 30 from 2-5 PM, and again on Monday morning at 11 AM before leaving in procession to Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 1155 Main St., Wakefield where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12 PM.Interment in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody
