Geraldine C. "Gerry" Corrado
Gerry was born November 17, 1921 in Boston, a daughter of the late Anthony Corrado and Clara (Gregori) Corrado.
Gerry was raised in Boston's North End neighborhood and lived in Roslindale for many years.She worked for New Haven Railroad for over 20 years and at Shawmut Bank in customer service.Gerry volunteered at the Marian Manor Nursing Home in South Boston, supported many charities over her life, and loved to travel.
Gerry was the cherished daughter of the late Anthony Corrado and Clara (Gregori) Corrado.Dear sister of the late Robert A. Corrado.Loving aunt of Gerri Corrado of Boston, Donna MacDonald of Melrose, Robert Corrado of Portland, ME, Richard Corrado of Seattle, WA, and the late Maryann Blue.Loving cousin of Robert Mancuso of Georgetown, Charles Mancuso of Millis and Sal Mancuso of Atkinson, NH.Also survived by many grandnieces and grandnephews, 1 great grandnephew and 1 great grandniece.
Funeral from the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St., MELROSE, Thursday, May 7 at 8 AM followed by a Funeral Mass in honor and remembrance of Gerry's life at St. Mary's Church, Herbert St., Melrose at 9 AM.Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
