Gertrude C. (Robinson) Felt Murray
Gertrude was born on June 29, 1915 in Antrim, New Hampshire, one of two children of the late Walter H. Robinson and Olive (Colton) Robinson.
Gertrude was raised in Lowell, graduated from Lowell High School, and from Salem State College. She lived in Melrose for many years before settling into her second home at Brooksby Village.While living in Melrose for over 50 years, she was a longtime member of the Melrose Highlands Congregational Church, and enjoyed her membership in the Kappa Delta Psi Sorority.
Mrs. Murray was the beloved wife of the late Ralph V. Murray and Geoffrey G. Felt.Devoted mother of Susan E. Moffitt and her husband David L. of Bedford, PA, and Richard A. Felt of Bridgewater. Dear stepmother of Douglas Murray of Hudson, NH, and Janet Blackwell of Hanover.Loving sister of the late Walter H. Robinson, Jr.Cherished grandmother of Sharon E. Moffitt Brettell and her husband Joshua of Hyattsville, MD, and Andrew D. Moffitt and his wife Amy of Bowie, MD.
Relatives and friends will gather in honor and remembrance of Gertrude's life for a Memorial Service at the Brooksby Village Chapel, 100 Brooksby Village Dr., Peabody on Thursday, May 8 at 12:00pm.Gifts in Gertrude's memory may be made to the Brooksby Village Benevolent Care Fund, 200 Brooksby Village Dr., Peabody, MA 01960 or the Perkins School for the Blind, 175 N.
