Gladys M. Regan

Mrs. Gladys M. "Glady" (Hanifan) Regan of Melrose, formerly of Malden, died on Saturday afternoon November 1, 2008 at the Sawtelle Family Hospice House in Reading.She was 97 years old. Gladys was born April 2, 1911, in Belmont, a daughter to the late Eugene J. Hanifan and Margaret J. (Gibson) Hanifan. Mrs. Regan was raised in Malden and graduated from Malden High School.For many years, she worked at John R. Evans Leather Company as a Secretary. Gladys was beloved wife of the late John J. "Duke" Regan.Dear sister of Barbara I. Greaves of Chelmsford, and the late Eugene Hanifan, Frederick Hanifan, Charles Hanifan, and Audrey Buckley.Also lovingly survived by many nieces and nephews.
