Mrs. Gwendolyn M. (Herritt) Lake of Melrose died Tuesday morning, May 16, 2006 at the Epoch Senior Health Center of Melrose.Mrs. Lake was born October 19, 1909 in Springhill, Nova Scotia, CN, daughter of the late Morton Herritt and Maggie (Bainbridge) Herritt.

Gwen was a long-time resident of Melrose and member of Trinity Church in Melrose.
Beloved wife of the late James E. Lake.Aunt of Joyce Berg of Maple Ridge, British Columbia, CN.Gwen is also survived by long time family friends, David R. Richard and Judy Cote both of Melrose.
