Harry T. Zorbas, 73, of Stoneham, formerly of Woburn, died suddenly September 14, 2006 at his home in Stoneham. He was born in Woburn, January 13, 1933, son of the late Theodore Zorbas and Bella Zorbas (Yianacopoulou) Zorbas.
Mr. Zorbas earned a bachelor's degree from Bates College.He went on to earn a master's degree from Tufts University.He spent his working years as a business education teacher at the Junior High School in Seymour, CT.Once he retired he returned to Massachusetts.
Mr. Zorbas was an avid sports fan who enjoyed the Red Sox, the Patriots as well as college football.He was a member and past president of the Theodore Zorbas Chapter of AHEPA (American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association) of Woburn.
Mr. Zorbas is survived by his step-sister, Kaye Bibilos of Melrose, nephew George Bibilos and his wife Doreen. Nephew Michael Bibilos, niece Suzi Bibilos all of Melrose and his great nieces Elena and Christina Bibilos and great nephews John and James Bibilos, as well as many cousins.
