Hazel was born on July 7, 1904 in Bonne Bay, Newfoundland, Canada, a daughter of the late Samuel Wight and Sarah (Earle) Wight.For many years, she lived in Watertown with her late husband, Mac, until moving to Melrose to be closer to her family.A fantastic cook, Hazel very much enjoyed and was proud of being a homemaker.
Mrs. Oldford was the beloved wife of the late James M. "Mac" Oldford with whom she shared 51 years of marriage.Loving mother of Carol A. Thompson and her husband Scott of Melrose.Cherished grandmother of Mark S. Thompson and Wendy M. Lovett both of Melrose and Daniel J. Thompson of Sandown, NH.Great grandmother of Shay, Darby, Matthew, Glen, and Keith Lovett and Zoe and Daniel J. Thompson, Jr..
