Mrs. Helen S.(Shaw) Wiltshire of Melrose died May 29, 2003 after a long illness in the Harborside Healthcare of Wakefield. Mrs. Wiltshire was born in Melrose, June 30, 1922, daughter of the late Carl F. Shaw and Helen M. (Stevens) Shaw. Helen was well known to many as she was the Coffee Shop Manager at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital for over 27 years, retiring in 1987.She was a long time member of the Green Street Baptist Church, a member of Rainbow Girls, Order of the Eastern Star, Melrose Chapter #14 and also a member of the Fireside Rebekah Lodge, Melrose.Helen was also and an independent caterer serving many meals for the Melrose Rotary Club, Lions Club and Kiwanis Club.
Helen was the wife of the late Frank G. Wiltshire.Mother of Bruce J. Wiltshire and his wife Carole of Melrose and Dexter S. Wiltshire of Gloucester.Sister of Warren H. Shaw and his wife Priscilla of Melrose. Grandmother of Jeffrey G. Wiltshire and his wife Elizabeth of Wakefield, Jennifer L. Moreno and her husband Carlos of North Reading andSPC Joshua C. Wiltshire,US Army of Melrose.Also survived by 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held in the Green Street Baptist Church, 179 Green St., Melrose on Tuesday, June 3, 2003 at 10:00 AM.Gifts in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 36 Cameron Ave., Cambridge, MA02140-1102 Interment will be Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose. Visiting hours in the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St. Melrose, Monday 4:00-8:00 PM.
