Inez was born December 16, 1923 in Cambridge, MA, daughter of the late Anthony and Inez G. (Fitzpatrick) McCarthy.
She was a long-time resident of Melrose and had worked for TransWorld Services on Washington St. for many years.
Inez was the loving mother of Barbara I. Allen and her husband Edward of Reading.Dear sister of Rita "Dolly" McCarthy of Melrose and the late Loretta Hannibal.Cherished grandmother of Melanie B. Govignon of Watertown and Amanda M. Allen of Reading.
Funeral from the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St., MELROSE Friday, Sept. 16 at 9 AM.Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, Melrose at 10 AM.Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.Visiting hours Thursday 4-7 PM.
