Mrs. DeGroot was born on January 26, 1919 in Boston, one of four daughters of the late Charles V. DeGroot and Marguerite (Ruff) DeGroot.She had worked for the U.S. government as a Secretary for many years.She was the dear sister of the late Cicely I. DeGroot, Mabel P. DeGroot, and Hilda M. Blackjohn.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Graveside Service honoring her life at Lakeside Cemetery, North Ave., Wakefield on Thursday, September 29 at 10 AM.
