Jack O'Malley
Jack was born in Boston, May 2, 1943, son of the late John P. O'Malley and Althea (McLain) O'Malley. He was raised and educated in Hyde Park and graduated from Hyde Park High School.
For 47 years, Jack was a Truck Driver and loved every trip he made. He loved Nascar racing, truck shows and traveling in his motor home with Marilyn.
He was a member of the Amvets marching color guard in Roslindale and he was an excellent pool player.
Jack was the beloved fiancé of Marilyn L. Hughes of Saugus. Devoted father of John D. O'Malley Jr. and Dennis M.both of VA, Michelle Cooper of GA., Scott O'Malley of Salem and Daniele M. O'Malley of Melrose.Dear brother of Kathleen J. O'Malley of KY andAlthea M. Gibbons of SC.Also survived by 11 grandchildren.Jack was the former husband of Karen (Solari) McCabe of Melrose and Kathy (Baldwin).
Funeral from the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St., MELROSE Thursday, June 14 at 9 AM.Funeral Mass in St. Margaret's Church , Lincoln Ave., Saugus at 10 AM. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Wednesday 4- 8 PM.Interment in Forest Hills Cemetery, Boston.
