Jacqueline Marie Lucie Sam

Jacqueline Marie Lucie Sam, resident of Stoneham, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at a Melrose healthcare facility.  She was 62.  She was born in Haiti on May 29, 1962 to the late Max Deluy Sam and Louise Justinien.

Jacqueline was a loving and proud mother and grandmother.  She enjoyed cooking, singing, family gatherings and music.

Jacqueline's unwavering faith was the cornerstone of her life, guiding her through both joyful moments and challenges. Her strong work ethic was evident in all she did, instilling in her children the value of hard work and dedication.

As we remember Jacqueline, we reflect on her legacy of love, kindness, and resilience. She touched the lives of all who knew her, leaving a lasting impact on her community and beyond. While we mourn her loss, we take comfort in the cherished memories we shared with her.

Jacqueline is survived by her husband Renold Elien, her children, Noldcie Elien Val and her husband Adly Val, Renoldine Elien Gill and her husband Devin Gill, Jefferson Elien, and Sebastien Elien.  She is also survived by five grandchildren, her brothers and sisters, and countless nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to gather in Jacqueline’s honor at St. Ann Church, 399 Medford St., Somerville, on Saturday, June 22, for a visiting hour from 10am-11am and for her Funeral Mass celebrated at 11am. Interment at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Stoneham.
