James Philip Knox, of Woburn, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 26, 2011 in Nashua, New Hampshire.He was 33 years old.
James was born in Stoneham on August 2, 1977, one of two children of Philip James Knox and Joyce (Farnsworth) Knox.James, or Jim as he was affectionately known by family and friends, was raised in Melrose and graduated from Melrose High School, Class of 1995.He worked for KMK Roofing in Woburn for several years.A big kid at heart, he loved spending time with his friends dirt-biking and boating in New England.He also enjoyed working on cars with his friends.
Jimmy will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Philip and Joyce Knox and sister, Denise M. Knox, all of Woburn; aunts and uncles, Madeline Connors, Mark Vallee, Cheryl Vallee, Chris Vallee, Sandy J. Michaud and her husband Dennis, Nancy L. Hart and the late Leslie A. Farnsworth, II, and Steven D. Farnsworth.Jim is also survived by many loving cousins, two nephews, and a niece.
He is predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Leslie A. Farnsworth and Doris C. Farnsworth and paternal grandparents, James Philip Knox and Madeline (Coyne) Vallee.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Visiting Hours at the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main Street, Melrose on Saturday, February 5 from 4:00 - 7:00 PM.
