James M. "Jim" Mulhern

James M. "Jim" Mulhern, formerly longtime resident of Medford, passed away on Tuesday, July 9th 2024 at the age of 70.

Born on February 5, 1954 to the late Philip and Barbara Mulhern after "kicking out his older twin brother" a few minutes before. Brother to Phil Mulhern, Jeanne Hoflen, Carol Henderson, Susan Gray and Rick Mulhern. Together they enjoyed creating memories with aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews at the family cottage on Newfound Lake, NH.

Jim began his carpentry career straight out of Medford High School. He started his own business which supported his family for years to come.

Jim enjoyed swimming, spending time with friends and would never turn down the opportunity to beat you in a game of cribbage.

He married his high school sweetheart, Lynne (Blomerth) Mulhern and welcomed their two daughters Sandra (Napoli) and Megan (Lavoie) and later became father-in-law to Patrick Lavoie and Christopher Napoli. Jim was a proud grandfather of Audrey, Andrew and Trevor Lavoie.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to gather in honor of Jim at the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St., Melrose, MA on Saturday, July 13th from 2:00 - 4:00pm.
