Jeffrey E. Blasi, of Saugus, passed away suddenly on December 21, 2024, at the age of 42.
Born on November 2, 1982, in Melrose to Paul C. and Caren (Wilson) Blasi, Jr., Jeff grew up in Malden, where he embraced an active, outdoorsy lifestyle that would become the hallmark of his life.
From a young age, Jeff found joy in the natural world around him. Whether he was out on the water, in the snow or exploring the woods, his adventurous spirit shone brightly. Summers spent along the Pemigewasset River in Bristol, New Hampshire, were particularly special to him, as he created countless memories camping, jet skiing with family and friends, teaching other kids the art of chipping and splitting wood and tending the campfires.
Jeff's willingness to do the hard work and the "dirty jobs" was well known. He made significant contributions in the fishing, manufacturing and construction industries, dedicating much of his life to this demanding yet fulfilling work. He took pride in his role as a machine operator at Thyssen Krupp Elevator, collaborating closely with his father. The bond they shared through work and hobbies, such as target shooting, was a cherished part of his life.
Jeff will be deeply missed by friends and family that stood by him and tried their best to help him.
Jeff was the beloved son of Paul and Caren Blasi. He was the husband to Nicole (Colanton) Blasi, stepfather of Marc Jr., and father to Lilliana and Madix. Cherished brother of Ryan Blasi and Sarah Clermont. Loving grandson of Paul C. and the late Bernice "J" Blasi and the late Frank and Evelyn Wilson. Jeff is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
In accordance with Jeff's wishes, there will be no services.
