Jennie Way
Jennie was born on September 3, 1909, a daughter of the late Samuel B. Friedman and Esther (Gouget) Friedman.
Jennie graduated from Swampscott High School and Boston University.She was a long time member of the First Congregational Church in Melrose and a former deaconess at the church. She was a volunteer at the Fitch Home in Melrose where she lived for 13 years and a member and past president of the Women's Fellowship at the former Hillcrest Church, Melrose.
Jennie was the beloved wife of the late Serviss Way.Devoted mother of Joan A. McCoy of Dorchester, Marjorie A. Gordon of Carlisle, Donald A. Way of Atherton, CA and William S. Way of Hawthorne Woods, IL.Also survived by 9 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. Services are private.
