Jeru Bryant

Jeru' Bryant of Melrose died at the Brigham and Women's Hospital, Boston May 9, 2003 after a brief illness. Jeru was born in Camden, NJ, and was raised in Philadelphia, PA. He was a Postal Clerk for many years at the South Station Postal Annex in Boston and had also worked for the Department of Defense. Jeru served in the Air Force during Vietnam. Jeru was the husband of Jane E. (Marshall) Bryant. Son of the late Dorothy (Hurdle) Johnson. Father of Donald Bryant of FL, Janina R. Wentzell and her husband Jerry of Melrose, Leroy C. Walcott of Medford and the late Jerome Bryant. Brother of Walter Johnson and his wife Pat of NJ. Grandfather of Shalaya Morissette of Brockton, Ashley Andrade, Tasha Bryant, Donald Bryant, Jr., Dion Ruff, and Dana Ruff all of Boston, Wolfgang Wentzell, Miles Wentzell and John Wentzell, all of Melrose and Jarrod Rosario of Malden. Nephew of Reginald Hurdle of PA. Also survived by 1 great grandson. Funeral from the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St., MELROSE, Tuesday, May 13 at 8AM. Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, Myrtle St., Melrose at 9AM Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Monday 4-8 PM. Interment will follow at Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose.
