Mrs. Stretton was born December 23, 1929 in Boston, MA, daughter of the late Howard C. and Mary (Flaherty) Stumpf.
Wife of Thomas W. "Bill" Stretton.Mother of Sally A. DiOrio and her husband, Michael of Lynnfield, Thomas W. Stretton, Jr. of Melrose, Priscilla L. Bunts and her husband Paul of Odenton, MD, Gayle M. Pridgen and her husband Rob of Stanhope, NJ, Susan J. Fennelly and her husband Arthur of Wakefield, Howard W. Stretton of Peabody, Linda J. Durfee and her husband Scott of Lake Mary, FL and the late Timothy B. Stretton.Mother in law of Arlyn Stretton of Melrose.Sister of Barbara Harmon and Beverly Graham both of FL, Patricia DiGiantomaso and Howard L. Stumpf, both of Malden, Eleanor Buckley of Wakefield and the late Jacqueline Desjardin and Robert W. Stumpf.Also survived by 17 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Funeral from the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St., MELROSE, Wednesday July 6 at 9 AM.Funeral Mass in Most Blessed Sacrament Church 1155 Main St., Wakefield at 10 AM.Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.Visiting hours Tuesday 4-8 PM.
