John Dunnet

Mr. John Dunnet of Melrose died Tuesday, morning October 18, 2005 at the Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston. John was born in Boston on May 1, 1929, son of the late James W. Dunnet and Sarah (Gibson) Dunnet. Mr. Dunnet was raised and educated in Boston. For 17 years he was the Director of Internal Audit at Boston College and was also an assistant controller at Tufts University for 16 years. John served in the United States Navy during the Korean War and was a long time member of the First United Methodist Church, Melrose. John was the husband of Joanne(Calton) Dunnet and the father of Laurie J. Dunnet of Melrose and John Dunnet Jr. of Quincy. He was the brother of Margaret Tressel of Weymouth and Wallace Dunnet of Sun City, CA and the grandfather of Rebecca of Quincy.
Funeral service at the First United Methodist Church, 645 Main St., Melrose Friday October 21 at 12 noon.Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours at the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St., MELROSE Thursday 4-8 PM. Interment will be in Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose, MA.
