John J. Greene

John J. Greene of Saugus, died suddenly on Friday February 25, 2011 at home in Saugus. He was 55 years old.

John was born in Winthrop on October 7, 1955, one of four children of John "Jack" Greene and Helen (Olsen) Greene. John was raised in Revere and graduated from Revere High School. He was a self employed mechanical engineer for several years.A big kid at heart, he loved spending time with his friends on his power boat, fishing, NASCAR races and building hot rods. He loved reading the daily newspaper front to back.

John will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Andrea (Patick) Greene with whom he shared 30 years of marriage; his parents, John and Helen (Olsen) Greene of Revere. Dear brother of Patti Kane of Nahant, Paula Sarcia of Revere and Thomas of Somerville. Dear son-in-law of Marion Patick of Lake Worth, FL and the late Philip Patick. Brother-in-law of Wayne Patick of Melrose and loving uncle of Kendra Patick of Melrose and the late Craig Patick. Also survived by several other nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service at the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St, Melrose on Thursday March 3 at 10AM.Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours on Wednesday 4-8 PM.Interment in Lakeside Cemetery, Wakefield.
