John H. Hanson

Mr. John H. Hanson a 55 year resident of Lynnfield died Friday November 7, 2003 at the Life Care Center, Stoneham. Mr. Hanson was born in Everett December 19, 1909 son of the late Nils E. Hanson and Selma (Elmstrom) Hanson.John was raised in Everett and served in the Army Air Corps as a flight instructor during WWII.Mr. Hanson was a retired co owner for 20 years of Four Star Aviation at the Lawrence Airport, in North Andover.He was an examiner, business manager and flight instructor.His passion for music was outstanding, playing many hours either a banjo or guitar.
John was the husband of Dorothy J. (Hamilton) Hanson.Father of Wayne H. and his wife Pauline of Milford, NH.Brother of LillianHagg of Arlington.Grandfather of Eric W. of Salem and Craig A. of Andover.Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service at the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St., MELROSE Wednesday Nov. 12 at 11 AM.Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.Gifts in his memory may be made to Hallmark Health Hospice, 100 Hospital Rd., Malden 02148.
