Jon Olson was born on December 6, 1965 in Melrose.He was raised and educated in Melrose and was a self-employed carpenter.
Jon was the beloved husband of Rene (Boudreau) Olson.Loving father of Jona L. Olson of Maine, Evan J. Olson of Billerica, and Aleea M. Olson of Billerica.. Cherished son of Sandra (Beckford) McLaurin of Melrose and Jon W. Olson and his wife Diane of Winthrop.Dear brother of Porky McLaurin III of Melrose.Jon is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins and his many loving family members from the Beckford, Olson, Boudreau and Shay families.
Funeral Service at the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St., Melrose on Saturday, May 30 at 10 AM.Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Friday from 4 - 8 PM.Interment in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.Gifts in Jon's memory may be made to the Olson Children's Fund, c/o TD Banknorth, 175 The Great Road, Bedford, MA 01730.
