Mr. Joseph A. Pulli of Saugus, formerly of Somerville died Thursday February 19, 2004 at the Beverly Hospital, in Beverly after a long illness.Joe was born in Woburn, MA son of the late Viola and Orlando Pulli.
Joe graduated from Somerville High School.Joe owned several Metal Fabrication shops and they were located in the communities of Somerville, Stoneham, Wilmington and Woburn.He opened his first metal fabrication shop in 1950 and retired in 1977.He was a former teacher and volunteer for 35 years for the Catholic Boys Guidance Center. He served in the US Army during WW II.
Joseph was the husband of Jeanne (Sealund) Pulli and the late Rose Pulli.Father of Jay J. Pulli of Fairfax, VA.Stepfather of Michelle J. Roberts of Whitman, Cheryl Ann Corkery and Patrice H. McLarey both of Marshfield and Julie A. McGovern of Stoneham.Brother of the late Frank, Mariano, Albert and Ann Irving.Also survived by 7 grandchildren.
Funeral from the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St., MELROSE, Monday, February 23 at 9 AM.Funeral Mass at St. Mary's Church(corner of Herbert and Myrtle St). MELROSE at 10 AM.Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.Visiting hours Sunday2-6 PM.Gifts in his memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 36 CameronAve., Cambridge, MA02140. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford, MA.
