Joseph V. Paratore
Mr. Paratore was born on April 3, 1918 in Boston, a son of the late Anthony Paratore and Lillian (Spatola) Paratore.
Joe was born and raised in the West End of Boston.He served in the US Army during WWII and subsequently moved to Everett.He worked as a Hairdresser at Filenes in Boston for 35 years.Joe was a former member of the Everett Elks Club, loved to golf and enjoyed oil painting.
Mr. Paratore was the beloved husband of Mamie (Bagarella) Paratore.Loving father of Valarie Pearsall of Melrose, Denise Matarazzo and her husband Michael of Everett, and Joseph A. Paratore and his wife Ann Bramante of Everett.Dear brother of the late Lena Zaffero, Rose DellIsola, Ann Leone and Alfred Paratore. Cherished grandfather of Damian Pearsall, Andrew Pearsall, Jason Pearsall, Matthew Matarazzo, Gina Matarazzo, Michael Matarazzo, Nadine D'Agostino, Krystal Paratore, and Lisa Paratore.Cherished great grandfather of Mason Pearsall, Andrew Matarazzo, Valarie Matarazzo and Renee Matarazzo.Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Graveside Service at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, Thursday, May 14 at 11:15 AM.Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.Visiting hours at the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St., MELROSE, Wednesday 5-8 PM.
