Josephine Jo Hilton

Josephine "Jo" (Whitcomb) Hilton,age 91 of Kokomo, Indiana and a former 54 year resident of Melrose, died Wednesday July 7, 2004 at the Northwoods Village Nursing Home in Kokomo, Indiana after a long illness. Mrs. Hilton was born in Kennebunk, Maine January 27, 1913, daughter of the Helen and Lewis Whitcomb. Before moving to be near her son in Kokomo, Indiana, Mrs. Hilton was for many years a nurses aide at the Winchester Hospital in Winchester, MA."Jo" was a member of the Melrose Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star, the First Baptist Church, Melrose and "Sit and Knit" in Melrose. Josephine "Jo" (Whitcomb) Hilton was the wife of the late O. Dana Hilton.Mother of Lewis "Bing" Hilton and his wife Mary of Kokomo, Indiana. Grandmother of Shawn D. Hilton of Kokomo, Indiana and Penny J. Hilton of Indianapolis, Indiana. A graveside service will be held at Wyoming Cemetery, Sylvan Street, Melrose, MAMonday July 12, 2004 at 11 AM.Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
