Mr. Johnston was born on June 3, 1920 in Cambridge, MA, Son of the late John J. and his wife Estelle (McGregor) Johnston.
Mr. Johnston was a resident of Malden for 2 years, prior to that he lived in North Andover for 5 years and Reading for 20 years.He served his country during the Second World War in the U.S. Army.After the service, he worked as a Mechanical Technician for the Honeywell Corporation until his retirement in 1981.
Husband of Doris L. (Pelley) Johnston for 56 years, Father of Kenneth M. Johnston Jr. of Malden and Ruth Legrow of Newton, NH; Brother of Irving Johnston of Braintree and Marion Patterson of Amherst, N.H. and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday December 6th at 10 a.m. in the Robinson Funeral Home.A visitation period will be held one-hour prior from 9-10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.Interment will be in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
