Kenneth E. Stafford
Ken was born on March 22, 1948 in Somerville, one of four sons of the late Frank and Ruth (Nickerson) Stafford.He was raised in Melrose and Wakefield, and graduated from Wakefield High School, Class of 1966.
A self-employed plumbing contractor, Ken owned and operated K & S Plumbing & Heating in Wakefield for over 20 years.He was a loving and devoted father, and cherished the time he spent with his grandchildren.Ken's needs in life were simple and his family brought him much joy.He had a heart of gold and treated everyone he met like a friend.He will be missed by all who loved him.
Ken was the husband of Maralyn "Lynn" L. (Johnson) Stafford of Wakefield.Devoted father of Joelle M. DiGiulio and her husband James of Peabody, Kenneth E. Stafford, Jr. of Peabody, Robert F. Stafford and his girlfriend Caity McElroy of Wakefield, and James R. Stafford and his fiancé Jessica Zitoli of Wakefield. Caring son-in-law of Roberta Johnson of Melrose.Dear brother of the late Richard, Robert, and Edward Stafford.Cherished grandfather of James, Kathryn, and Jennifer DiGiulio, and Avery Stafford.
Relatives and friends will gather in remembrance of Ken's life at the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St., Melrose on Sunday, December 8 from 3-6 PM.Private Funeral Services will be held.Interment in Forest Glade Cemetery, Wakefield.
