Leslie was born on October 6, 1971 in State College, Pennsylvania, one of two children of Jane I. Smith and the late Rev. Jackson M. Smith.
She was raised in Hingham where she graduated from Hingham High School.She graduated from Wesleyan University and worked as a systems analyst in the healthcare field for many years.Leslie enjoyed many years of coaching gymnastics and loved woodworking.She also was an avid swimmer, loved playing softball, and was a huge fan of the Boston Red Sox.
Leslie H. Smith was the beloved daughter of Jane I. Smith of Avon, CT and the late Rev. Jackson M. Smith.Dear sister of Philip M. Smith and his wife Marianne of Melrose.Loving aunt of Zoe and Sadie Smith of Melrose.She is also survived by close family friend, Bernadette Perrault of Newton.
Funeral Service for immediate family and closest friends of Leslie's will be held at the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St, Melrose on Sunday, February 27 at 11 AM.Gifts in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, PO Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148.
