Lillian E. "Lil" (Jaynes) Craig
Lillian was born on April 21, 1945 in Everett, one of five children of the late Edwin and Eleanor (Goss) Jaynes. Raised and educated in Chelsea, she lived in Malden and North Reading for several years, before moving to Melrose.
Lillian, lovingly known by her friends and family as "Lil," enjoyed camping in New Hampshire, and travelling to Florida with her late husband David. Lil was a cat and bird lover, and a great cook. One of her favorite activities was getting together in the yard for a cookout with her family.
Lil was the beloved wife of the late David Craig. Loving mother of Dawn Morin, Albert Stuart, and Derik Stuart, all of Jefferson. Stepmother of Christopher Craig of Lynn, David Craig of Cambridge, and Sherri Craig of Lynn. Dear sister of David E. Jaynes of Melrose, Edward Jaynes of Lowell, and the late Martin Jaynes, and Eleanor Jaynes. Also survived by 8 grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services are private.
