Lillian Marie Kenney
Miss Kenney was born in Melrose, February 10, 1926, daughter of the late Ashton L. and Marguerite (Gross) Kenney.
Miss Kenney was the winner of the 2003 Bread of Life Award for the Melrose Soup Kitchen.Miss Kenney's parents were very active in the Melrose community.Her mother worked at the voting polls, taught ceramics and volunteered at the Melrose Red Cross.Her father worked 45 years at the First National Bank of Malden.
Sister of Phyllis A. Benson of Moody, ME and Elaine Gardner of Deerfield, NH.Also survived by several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Memorial service at the Green Street Baptist Church, 179 Green St., Melrose, MA Sunday, Oct. 17 at 2 PM.Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Gifts in her memory may be made to the Memorial Fund at the Church.
Interment will be in Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose, MA.
