Linda G. Johnson, a Melrose resident, passed away on Monday, February 27, 2012 at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital, at the age of 65.
Linda was born on July 26, 1946, in Boston, a proud daughter of the late Dr. Raymond E. Johnson and Priscilla (Marshall) Johnson.She was raised in Newton Highlands, and graduated from Beaver Country Day School.She attended Middlebury College in Vermont, graduated from Defiance College in Ohio, and worked as a paralegal at White and Fudala Law Firm in Lexington for many years.
A member of the Melrose Humane Society, Linda was well known for her love of cats.With a soft spot for animals, she had adopted many cats and cared for them in her home for many years.She was also a nature and wildlife lover. In her childhood, she was a champion tennis player and a gifted ballerina.
Linda was the devoted sister of Sally T. Johnson of Australia and the late David R. Johnson.Dear aunt of Joseph A. Siracusa of Australia, Joy Christina Tsalikis and Johanna Siracusa, both of Los Angles, CA.Loving cousin of Teri Weed of Swansea.
Services for Linda will be held privately.
