Mrs. Rideout was born October 23, 1937 in Waterbury, CT, daughter of the late William J. Roemer and Jeannette (Carter) Roemer.
Linda graduated from the House of the Pines High School and Colby Junior College in New London, NH. For many years she was a medical secretary.Linda was a former long-time resident of Wakefield, MA and a former member of the First Parish Congregational Church of Wakefield where she sang in the choir and was a Deacon. Linda's passion was her love for bowling.
Linda was the beloved and loving wife of 37 years to Robert J. Rideout and the late Gilbert L. Aust.She was the devoted mother of Douglas L. Aust of Boston, Lynne Rideout Johnston of North Wales, PA, Glenn A. Rideout of Bridgton, ME and Scott J. Rideout of San Francisco, CA.Sister of Harriet Hamilton of Wilmington, VT.She is also survived by 6 grandchildren.
