Lisa Marie Lancia, a resident of Melrose, passed away unexpectedly at home on Friday, February 4, 2022, at age 62.
Lisa was born in Everett on November 12, 1959, one of six children of the late Harriet (Bos) and Anthony Lancia. She was raised in Everett where she graduated from the Everett Vocational School. Lisa enjoyed her work as an administrative assistant for many years at the Law Office of Faresse and Kelly in Everett. She settled in Chelsea to raise her family, and later moved to Melrose later in life. Lisa enjoyed doing cross stitch, the thrill of scratch tickets, weekly Tupperware Bingo games, but most of all cherishedtime with her beloved family. She adored her grandson, Joshua, and eagerly awaited every opportunity to see him, especially trips out for ice cream.
A friendly and welcoming woman, she will be deeply missed, but always lovingly remembered by her family.
Lisa was the beloved mother of Christopher Whitlow and his wife Kristen of Saugus, and Ashley Ray of AZ. Adoring grandmother of Joshua Whitlow of Saugus. Cherished sister of Anthony Lancia, Jr., Diane Masucci and her late husband Fred, Lucille Najarian and her husband Paul, the late Deborah Lancia, and the late Joanna King and her late husband Russell. Also survived by the family puggle, Roxie, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Relative and friends are kindly invited to gather during visiting hours at the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St., Melrose on Thursday, Feb. 10 from 4-8pm, with a Prayer Service at 7:00pm.
