Lori K. Hummer
Born on January 29, 1960, she was one of four children of Gloria B. (Slingerland) Hummer and the late Eugene J. Hummer Jr.She was raised in Lynnfield and graduated from Lynnfield High School.A homemaker for much of her life, Lori enjoyed ceramics, cooking, attending Church, and spending time with her family and friends.
Lori was the loving mother of Laura C. Barlow of Lynnfield and her dear friend Steve Reece of Cambridge.Beloved daughter of Gloria B. (Slingerland) Hummer of Arlington and the late Eugene J. Hummer, Jr.Cherished sister of Gary R. Hummer and his wife Jean of Haverhill, Eugene J. Hummer, III and his wife Linda of Georgetown, and Gregory C. Hummer and his wife Keren of Lynnfield.Former wife of the late James Barlow.Also survived by many nieces and nephews and her longtime friend, Carol Osowski of NH.
Relatives and friends will gather in honor and remembrance of Lori for visiting hours at the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St., Melrose on Friday, April 27 from 5-8 PM and for her Funeral Service at the Melrose Highlands Congregational Church, 355 Franklin St., Melrose, celebrated on Saturday at 10:00 AM.
