Lorraine E. Burns
Born on February 21, 1931 in Melrose, Lorraine was one of nine children of the late Walter W. and Harriet (Grover) Burns.
She is survived by her beloved daughters, Jean M. Sorrenti of Dedham, and Barbara Burns of Melrose; 2 grandchildren, Rachel Robinson and Samuel Lewis; and 5 nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her siblings, Myrtle L. Burns, Bernice M. "Dolly" Clifford, Shirley N. Mackay, Theodore E. Burns, Albert Burns, Sadie Saulnier, Ann Kinnon, and Walter Burns, Jr.
Relatives and friends will gather in honor and remembrance of Lorraine's life at the First Baptist Church, 561 Main St., Melrose where her Funeral Service will be celebrated on Friday, November 15 at 11:00 AM.
