Louise was born May 6, 1918 in Manchester, NH, a daughter of the late George M. Gibson and Sylvia (Langley) Gibson.
Louise was raised in Limerick, Maine and graduated from Limerick High School and Gorham State Teachers College in Gorham, Maine. She taught elementary school in Maine, New Hampshire, Washington, DC, Hamilton, MA and North Reading, MA.She was a superb genealogist and enjoyed her many visits to the Milano Senior Center in Melrose.Louise was a proud member of the AARP.
Louise was the beloved wife of the late Stuart J. Tuma Sr.Devoted mother of S. John Tuma Jr. of Melrose and Diana Provencher and her husband Guy of Portland, ME. Dear sister of George Gibson of Rochester, NY and the late Phillip Gibson.Cherished grandmother of Marc Provencher of Red Bluff, CA and Rachel Provencher of NYC, NY.Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
