Lucia (Lesiak) Mackie, a resident of Melrose, passed away suddenly, February 16, 2011.She was born in Goiania Goias, Brazil on February 8, 1955.

She was the loving and devoted mother of Patrick O'Connor of Melrose, Anna L. Mackie and her fiancé Sandro of Lynn, and Christina V. Mackie of S. Boston.Beloved daughter of Jan and the late Anna Lesiak.Dear sister of Sonia Maraqa of Wakefield, Tereza Lesiak of Wakefield, Vera Lesiak-Frongillo and her husband John of Melrose, and the late Frederick Lesiak.Also survived by her loving companion of over 25 years, Charles F. "Charlie" O'Connor of S. Boston; former husband, Richard Mackie; cherished grandsons, David and Anthony; and several loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral from the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main Street, Melrose on Wednesday, February 23 at 8 AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in her honor at Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 1155 Main St, Wakefield at 9 AM.Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.Visiting hours on Tuesday from 4-8 PM.Interment in Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose.
