Mrs. Moores was born February 23, 1916 in Newfoundland, N.S., Canada, a daughter of the late Charles Gruchy and Emma (Baldwin) Gruchy.
Mrs. Moores was a long-time resident of Melrose and a former resident of Wakefield.She was a graduate of the Whidden Memorial Hospital School of Nursing and worked as a nurse in a Malden nursing home, retiring in the early 1960s.She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and a member of one of the Women's Circle groups.
Loving wife of the late Robert C. Moores.Devoted mother of Elaine R. Ryan of Melrose.Dear sister of the late Charles Gruchy.
