Mr. Malcolm Lacey of Lake Placid, FL and Gilford, NH, died at his home in Florida on September 3, 2006.
Mr. Lacey was born in Chelsea, September 10, 1923, son of the late William Lacey and Gertrude (Penney) Lacey.
Mr. Lacey was a former long-time resident of Melrose and was raised in Medford.He was a veteran of WWII having served in the United States Navy.He was a member of the OTIS Club in Medford, the Pequossette Lodge AF&AM in Watertown and the Aleppo Temple Shrine in Wilmington.For many years he worked as an Appraiser for the Home Savings Bank in Boston.He also worked as a manager at the Wonderland Dog Track in Revere.
Mr. Lacey was the husband of Frances E. (Smith) Lacey and the late N. Pauline (Jupp) Lacey.Father of David J. Lacey and his wife, Kathleen of Melrose, James M. Lacey and his wife, Katherine of Stoneham and Kenneth K. Lacey and his companion Cris Coumier of East Derry, NH.Brother of Pearl Miller of Gilford, NH, Roger Lacey of Yankeetown, FL, Isabel Zografos of Sebring, FL, Ella Buoncuore of Burlington, Edward Lacey of Stoneham and the late Roland Lacey.Grandfather of David Lacey, Jr. of Plymouth, Michelle Lacey of Wakefield and Michael Lacey of Melrose.
