Margaret R. Ashley
Margaret was born in Lynn April 1, 1922, the daughter of the late William R. Breen and Rose (McCafferty) Breen.
Margaret was raised in Lynn and worked at General Electric during WW II.She was a nurse's aid at the Middlesex Fells Nursing Home in Melrose for over 20 years and a parishioner at St. Mary's Church.
Margaret was the beloved wife for 59 years to the late Kenneth R. Ashley Sr. Devoted mother of Kenneth R. Ashley Jr. of Lowell, Richard J. Ashley and his wife, Joanne of Melrose, Margaret R. "Marty" DuBois and her husband Peter of Reading and the late Francis J. "Frank" Ashley.Sister of the late James P. O'Donnell and Cornelius O'Donnell. Loving grandmother of Kathleen MacDonald, Nicole Ashley, Susan, Elizabeth, and James Ashley. Loving great grandmother of James MacDonald. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
