Mrs. Margaret M. "Peg" (Kelly) Curry, a resident of Winchester, passed away surrounded by her loving family, on Saturday, February 26, 2011 at Cambridge Hospital in Cambridge.She was 88 years old.
Margaret was born on September 8, 1922 in Boston, one of two children of the late Patrick J. Kelly and Margaret (Mitchell) Kelly.
Peg was a member of the Knights of the Holy Sepulchre and was active with the League of Catholic Women, Winchester College Club, and Winchester Garden Club.
Margaret M. "Peg" (Kelly) Curry was the beloved wife of the late John V. "Bud" Curry with whom she shared 59 years of marriage.Devoted mother of John V. "Jack" Curry, Jr. and his wife Janet of Burlington, Brian P. Curry and his wife Toni of Plymouth, and Michael T. Curry and his wife Kate of Winchester.Dear sister of Reverend Patrick J. Kelly of Woburn.Cherished grandmother of John, Scott, Timothy, Christopher, Colleen, Michael, Kevin and Dianna Curry. Also survived by 4 great grandchildren.
Funeral from the Costello Funeral Home, 177 Washington St., Winchester, on Thursday March 3 at 9 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Charles Borromeo Church, 280 Main St., Woburn at 10AM.Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday 4-8 PM.Interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery, West Roxbury.
