Margaret M. Lyon

Mrs. Margaret M. (Maguire) Lyon of Reading, formerly of Melrose died Sunday June 27, 2004 at the Hospice House in Reading after a lengthy illness. She was born in Lowell, Massachusetts, daughter of the late Edward F. and Margaret M. (Murgatroyd) Maguire. Mrs. Lyon was a resident of Reading and previously resided in Melrose, Wolfeboro, NH and North Hampton, NH.
Mrs. Lyon worked at the Little Folks Shop at the Red Stone Plaza. She previously worked as an Executive Secretary to the Eastern Middlesex Board of Realtors Inc. in Reading.
Wife of Arthur W. Lyon with whom she shared 62 years of marriage. Mother of Lynette S. Gray and her husband Henry "Chip" of Danvers, Kenneth A. Lyon and his wife PokHui of Brick, NJ and Lucinda M. Campbell and her husband John of Melrose. Grandmother of David Gray and his wife Shelby, Stephen Gray, Marion Lyon, Paul Lyon, Michelle Campbell, Kaitlin Campbell and Patrick Campbell. Great grandmother of Kyleigh Gray.
Memorial service at the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St. Melrose Friday July 2, 2004 at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Visiting hours Thursday4-7 PM.
