Margaret "Peg" Parsons
Peg was born on November 5, 1911, in Newburgh, NY, one of four children of the late Robert and Elizabeth (Cartmill) Leetch. She was raised in Newburgh, NY. For many years, she worked for the former Wakefield Trust Company in Wakefield.She was a dedicated volunteer for the Red Cross and the Wakefield Council of Aging.
Peg was the beloved wife of the late Hedley J. Parsons. Dear sister of the late Robert Leetch, Mildred Doyle and Sarah Leetch. Special aunt of Kerry Banks and her husband Mark Nowlan of Brownsville, VT.Also survived by several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Relatives and friends will gather in honor and remembrance of Peg's life during visiting hours at the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St., Melrose on Thursday January 23 from 11AM to 12 PM, followed by her Funeral Service celebrated at 12 PM.Interment in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Newburgh, NY.
