Mrs. Miller was born February 17, 1929, in East Boston, daughter of the late Pasquale Marafino and Michael and Lucy (Carino) Bontempo.
Rita was raised and educated in Everett, graduating from Everett High School in 1947.She resided in Everett until 1985 when she moved to Melrose where she lived for 15 years and then moved to Chester, NH in 2002 to live with her family.She loved being a homemaker and was an avid reader.
Rita was the wife of the late Russell J. Miller.Loving mother of Joanne M. Masiello and her husband, Robert of Chester, NH and Russell R. Miller and his wife, Carole of Peabody. Sister of Janice Helein of Melrose and the late Richard Bontempo.Step-sister of Donald Bontempo of Everett and the late Antoinette Giacobbe.Loving grandmother of Stephanie, Laura, Andrew and Sarah.
